It seems that is not the case and it’s functionality I think has been proven well by many photogs.
Thanks for the list and I think I will finally give the GorillaPod a try and see how that goes. It does look a letter better than Pedco right?

I’m definitely going to get a GorillaPod, and I love how small the Pedco Ultra Pod is. I’m all about minimal packing, so I’m always on the lookout for a light, packable travel product!
