Aren’t they gorgeous! Tranquille was such a great place to spend the day.

Kamloops in general is a lovely little city, too. It’s one of those places that’s very unassuming, as it doesn’t have any big draws (like the Shushwaps Lakes or a hot springs like Radium). But there are (literally!) dozens of little lakes within a half hour drive, lots of great hikes, and some wonderful independent restaurants and coffee shops in the downtown. Just a great little city to enjoy a slower pace, visit places like Tranquille, and take in the scenery.
