Your first person account of the ride over the cave houses brings this experience to life. Getting up at 4:15 AM for much of anything needs a good supporting argument for many people, which you provided.

Wow, that looks absolutely stunning! I have always wanted to go on a hot air balloon tour, but I had never heard of these structures before. But that definitely seems amazing, and I would love to go to Turkey some day. Thanks so much for sharing, I’ll have to remember this next time I’m planning a vacation.

Hi Gabi,

No, he couldn’t fall out. It’s hard to tell from the photo, but the camera’s tilted a bit; he’s actually at the bottom of the basket pulling on the ropes 🙂
