Laura, you can’t take the wands on most rides however some, like the main Harry Potter experience, provide free lockers for all your stuff right before you get on. There are also lockers situated throughout the park you can use for the day. You also can’t carry loose things on any rides like cell phones, etc. There are places to store it all though so don’t worry too much about the wands, you’ll likely use them at several points throughout the day depending on ride lengths and how busy it all is. Another option is to take turns holding the wands by splitting up the group. We did that a few times and it worked well for us.
