It’s great to read about all the other inspirations! For me travelling is staying open-minded, I might travel somewhere far away were the customs are different and people don’t act like I’d suspect. It’s important to listen, then and see things from another perspective. The same goes for the same old-places you visit everyday – I live in a region that attracts many tourists and sometimes I don’t appreciate that. Then it’s important to look around you again and see things from another perspective.
I love travelling, you learn so much about yourself, others, history…

I would say that family memories inspire me to travel. I want my son to experience it all as he grows up so that he can look back on those experiences as an adult.

So many things inspire me to travel including my fascination with other cultures and people! I went to college as a Chinese and Political science major with the intent of becoming a diplomat because I’ve always wanted to build bridges uniting people on our similarities.. Politics are not for me though but I still crave immersing myself in other cultures… In fact… I’ll be going to Kuala Lumpur at the end of November and I cannot wait! I’m sure you can share you favorite spots with me 🙂 Those books all sound fabulous and just what my little one would enjoy!

I love getting away on my own. I know that sounds awful since I have a family but flying and being in a hotel just me and probably spending time with just my friends brings me back to a time with no responsibility. <3
