I stumbled upon this article and I’m glad you liked our country so much, but specially I was amused with your love for Trits, which I have to agree: it’s great. In reply to paz kandero. Hey Paz, sorry I don't have that information. I wish Trits were available in Canada as well. I'd pay double what we did in Costa Rica just to be able to have one on a hot summer day here. Trits are made by Dos Pinos who are based in Central America. You can check their site out here but I don't think you'll find the information you want. I think for now it's only a Costa Rican luxury and a just another reason to head back there regularly. ;)

my name is paz kandero and i’m a millitary veteran at the IDF currently living in israel.
4 monthes ago during a surf trip to costa rica with friends i discovered the ice cream called “trits”.
the first time i tasted it i instantly loved it and soon came to find out that a lot of israely travellers at costa rica love it just like me.
i contacted you because im interested to import “trits” to israel.
im sure it will sell big time here and will turn out as a succesful business deal for the both of us.
israeli people are big fans of ice cream and the hot climate helps on that matter also.
it will be great if you can contact me back.

I’m staying in Tamarindo currently for a month so your blog info has been very helpful, thanks! I will have to seek out “Trits” as I was lamenting the lack of ice cream stores in Tamarindo.
